THE
COMPOUND.
A purpose-built wrestling facility opening Spring 2026 in the heart of East Tennessee. Built for training. Available for rental.
COMING
SPRING
2026.
The Cell is currently under construction in Knox County, Tennessee. The facility is being built from the ground up as a dedicated wrestling compound, designed around the specific demands of the sport at an elite level.
Every element of the build is intentional. Regulation mat space, weight room, event infrastructure, and athlete amenities are all being constructed to the same standard as the program that will operate inside it.

PLACED
WITH
PURPOSE.
Knoxville sits at the intersection of I-40 and I-75 -- two of the most traveled corridors in the Southeast. That is not a coincidence. It is why programs from across Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Kentucky can reach The Cell in a single drive. The facility is positioned to serve a region, not just a county.
East Tennessee already hosts some of the most competitive youth and high school wrestling in the state. The corridor from Knoxville to Gatlinburg is an established tournament destination. TNAAU Region 1 operates in this footprint. What has been missing is a dedicated elite facility capable of training, hosting, and developing at the level the region's athletes are already competing at.
The Cell fills that gap. For clubs looking to bring a group for a training camp, coaches building out a competitive calendar, or programs seeking a facility that matches their standard -- this is built for you.
BOOK THE CELL.
The Cell facility is available for rental once construction is complete. Club practices, scrimmages, dual meets, private events, and coaching clinics are all welcome. If you are already planning ahead, reach out now to get on the calendar.
