The Cell operates as a certified Holland Trained facility under Coach Ed Holland. His program is built on a straightforward belief: every wrestler has another level, and finding it requires more than mat time alone. It requires the right instruction, the right environment, and a coach who is invested in developing the whole athlete: technically, physically, and mentally.
As freestyle and Greco-Roman season opens, The Cell is now accepting athletes for structured offseason training. Spots are limited. The coach-to-athlete ratio is intentionally maintained.
The Methodology
Physical & Mental Development
Coach Ed builds athletes from the inside out. Technical drilling, private lesson methodology, mindset training, strength and conditioning, and film and match review, structured into a single development system, not offered as isolated add-ons.
Styles Offered
Freestyle & Greco-Roman
Dedicated training in both international styles through the offseason. Athletes who develop fluency across all three styles consistently outperform those who don't. This is the offseason work that produces that difference.
Standards
High Ratio. High Expectation.
Placements are limited by design. Every athlete in the Holland Trained program at The Cell receives real coaching, not just supervised practice. The environment reflects the same standard that defines the facility as a whole.

Earned Roster Spots
Selection is based on competitive level, coachability, and consistent training at The Cell. Representation of this program is a standard, not a participation opportunity.

National Competition
National-level events. Scheduled to put athletes into competitive rooms that match and exceed the level this facility trains toward.

Youth Through High School
Open to competitive wrestlers actively training at The Cell. Travel team participation requires consistent presence at the facility, not just event attendance.

The conduct, effort, and representation expected inside this facility does not change when the team leaves. Every tournament is an extension of what The Cell is building.
